I love the fact that they did’t show tthe Tripods in the trailer. Thank you for that! Because when I wached in on DVD first time I have no idea about those machines. When I just saw the tripod first time in the movie I was like: “WOW… WTH Is That!” And Later that EPIC Sound! That was amazing!!!!. I LOVE those Tripods, I LOVE the movie !!! (one of my favourites) THANK YOU Spielberg and H.G. Wells!!!!

@FlyingArrowStudios if u liked ‘knowing’, then u should so see ‘the happening’, its even worswe, but still a good movie.
As annoying as the girl was, this movie was the the scariest movie I ever saw. It’s a toss-up between this and that awful film ‘Knowing’. Those two movies totally freak me out.
@slamer80 i thought it was based on a radio broadcast way back in the 30s called the war of the worlds that introduced the idea of alien invasion to america
it was a fake broadcast pretending that aliens invaded america and everyone got scared but it was revealed the next day to be a joke
