i saw this movie when i was 12; i liked hot rods to hell-and that great music combo by mickey rooney’s jr band-i wanna know the name of the song–anyway; this is what happened when america lost its innocence after the kennedy assassination-kids became aimless-and anything goes–it hasn’t changed–with kids–it will always be–until they grow up.
Those were the days, when mom’s slapped their daughtors on the face for being a btich!
Patty McCormack and Mimsy Farmer together!!!!! my heart!!!!
Hot Rods to Hell: That gawddam Duke and Ernie and their whole gang. Lucky for them, Mr.Phillips didn’t carry a gun in the glovebox. That Highway Patrol cop wouldn’t be so pissy and crabby if wasn’t wearing that police helmet all the time. (plenty of hot chicks hang out at the Arena…just waiting to give it up for a pint of hard alcohol! it’s a shame that Phillips was going to clean it up and make it into a family establishment… no fun in that.)
Hadn’t seen “Hot Rods to Hell” in years, then rented it a couple of weeks ago. Mimsy Farmer’s hot, always ready to go! Love to have the soundtrack, too bad it’s not available in mp3 or on a CD.
And the valve covers were leaking on the headers, hence the smoke.
Hot Rods To Hell – what was the Dad thinking, buying that Savoy, prawly with a slant 6. He should have ordered the 383 RB. All things considered, I’d hit Laurie Mock. Definitely.
It’s probably the Gordian Knot, no?
Oh my God, young people have sex and do drugs. They did in the 60s, they did in the 20s, they do today, and they will tomorrow.
The only reason sex and drugs were especially cool in the 60s is because they were accompanied by fuzzy guitars!
THATS THE BEDROOM BABY I’M READY! LOL
there are many songs called hotrods to hell, i assume the one you are looking for is the Elvis Hitler one, these guys are no longer together, they got back together for a while and started a band called splatter, wich imo sounded much better but its hard to find there cd (i got one of ebay) look for “elvis hitler – hotrods to hell” is that the version u want. i really dig this music in the movie “hotrods to hell” one of the guys from the band in the movie got locked up later for murder!
That Vette sounds like a VW
ey does anybody know who plays the song ”hot rods to hell” or wheir i could find it?i heard it on a clip about this movie and it had that song playing in it
i am looking for the song Ophelia from the movie The Young Runaways (1968). if you know where to find it…. or who the band is…
MICKEY ROONEY JR.& HIS COMBO? WOW!! He sure strikes a resemblance to his father. I kinda digged this mellow song very much in this movie.
He was off the wagon at that time.
I was joking.
nope, it was Ken Del Conte. Harry Hamlin would have been 17 by the time this movie was made.
i own hot rods to hell dvd.love it ..
I think I saw this a long time ago. Creepiest person was Dana Andrews.
Big Daddy
