It’s the 21st century, but the gods of Mount Olympus and assorted monsters have walked out of the pages of high school student Percy Jackson’s Greek mythology texts and into his life. This was a really good movie. Everyone says it wasn’t like the book, but this movie was based on the book so it’s not going to be the same by the name “based”, lol. I think people fail to realize it. So, I read the book, but still the movie was great anyway. I think I liked the characters older though because it makes it more mature for older audiences and young not to old for young audiences.

This movie was just like every other book based movie, terrible. The producers completely ruined what could have been a good movie. The actors were completely wrong for the role. Btw was it just me or did other ppl think that Gabe Ugliano should have been played by Michael Moore?

i’ve not seen the movie but i’ve read the book, and i see that the guy’s 16 or so in the film!!! he’s supposed to be 12! the girl that accompanies him is supposed to be blond, and percy is not supposed to wear the flying shoes because zeus will probably kill him as he is in zeus’s element! they would be better off just making up another story then, if i’ts to change everything!

Percy and Annabeth are not related because Gods have no DNA and I guess that makes them not related. I read that in the fourth or fifth book. What is she talking about strong feelings? That is not supposed to happen until like the fifth book?!
She should have blonde hair and they look like 16 instead of 12. They changed too much stuff.

The movie, to someone that hasn’t read the books, was not so bad. It was worth watching but somethings were just so dumb. However, to someone like me who has read the books, this movie sucked. They changed so much things and made this movie so Harry Potter like when the original way was excellent. It was a real disapoinment.
