  9. this was amazing… every single actor in this movie was amazing, esspecially the girl that played Precious and Monique and surprisingly Alicia Keys! damn i love this movie. One thing i dont get is why did Mariah Carey get so much credit for her role… it wasnt even a big role. but anyways I love this movie… recommend it to everyone!

“Precious” is nothingmore than a WHOREthat needs to be put down.

WHY glorify a WELFARE_SLUT like “Precious”????

FuckHER she is an OBAMA WELLFARE CASE!!!

    - ManNordic
  13. Why would? you make a movie that glorifies a 300 pound Nigger Ape Welfare Bitch that has a WELFARE baby by every Ghetto Black Nigger Male she sees?
    .
Do you not realize that “Precious” is a FAT Big Mac Eating Nigger Slut that is going to DESTROY our Republic?
    .
“Precious” is a Fat Black Welfare Animal that will fuck anything to keep the Welfare checks coming.

  15. @1947freddy lol idiotic christian. Like some make believe thing like god is going to save you when you are about to be shot, when your going to be raped, when you’re falling off the empire state building? no, there is no god, only us.

  16. @TheNewMoon333 Say New Moon 666 lol winner. Hang in there and you will never make it.

  17. @blUdz18 Great point…although the movie had to be sanitized to prevent it from getting an X or NC-17 rating, it’s still excellent and Mo’Nique and Gabby clearly deserved their awards and nominations.

  18. @glennrickard1958 You can compare and contrast the film and the book all you like but at the end of the day its an adaptation which literally means interpretation. This is how the Director interpreted the book. I wouldn’t change a thing. The film was more than perfect for me and I think Gabby did a great job. The film received universal acclaim and won many prestigious awards and nominations. So really, whats to moan about?

    - blUdz18
  19. @blUdz18 I read the book and watched the movie. The book’s description of Precious’s abuse is far more graphic than the abuse shown in the movie. Also, the ‘real’ Precious in the book is far taller, heavier, and darker-skinned than the Precious played by Gabby. The movie had to be ‘sanitized’ so it wouldn’t get an ‘X’ or ‘NC-17′ rating and I guess they couldn’t find any girls 6’4″ tall, 400 lbs. and skin matching new black clothes to play ‘Precious’.

    - glennrickard1958
  20. @m0bstok0 Yes. ‘Push’ gives a far more graphic account of the abuse ‘Precious’ suffered than the movie, probably because the movie had to be ‘sanitized’ so it got an ‘R’ rating. Also ‘Push’ describes Precious as very tall (6’4″-6’7″), heavy (375-400 lbs.) and extremely-dark-complected (skin matching new black clothes in department stores). Thus, the ‘real’ Precious is far taller and darker-skinned than Gabby Sidibe.

  22. @1947freddy lol loser. the credit goes to the actors and Lee DAniels…oh and Queen Winfrey and Madea

  25. i loved this movie. i watched it with my mom. it was so sad. i told my mom that if she was EVER like that to me i would run away, or id just murder someone to get into prison to get away from that. just to think that there are people out there that are like that and have to go through stuff like that every day. i think the funiest part was when she kicked her slipper at her mom. lol. but it made me cry! and shockingg!
